Week of Nov. 9-13, 2020

Virtual Students:

Reading: Complete phonics and grammar in student binder in Reading Wonders. Work on Lexia :)

Math: Complete lessons in Envisions. Work on IXL.

Science: Students will make a diagram and label parts of plant. Should be full paper size. Can be drawn but feel free to get creative and use craft supplies also.

About Me! My name is Stephanie Lyons and this is my 23rd year teaching! This is my 10th year at Hannan.I have taught kindergarten for 25 years and this is my 2nd year in 1st grade. I have two beautiful daughters. My oldest is Kelsey and she is in her senior year year of college. She got married two years ago and is now expecting her first baby!! I am so excited!! My youngest is Emily and she will be starting her 3rd year of college in August. When I'm not working on school things I love to travel, shop and do things with family and friends. My favorite places to be are the beach and I love to go camping.

Our school requires that all students wear uniforms Monday through Friday. Shirts can be red, yellow, green, blue or white. Pants can be blue or khaki.

Breakfast begins at 7:15. School begins at 8:00. Make sure they are here on time if you would like for them to eat. If they are late, please make sure you walk them in to office. They must be signed in.

Students may not be checked out after 2:00 without an appointment card.

Please make sure you send a hand written note if you are changing the way your child goes home. Phone calls to office will not be accepted.

If you are sending me an email that I need to read, please send by 9 am. I will not check again til after school. Thanks!!

You must send in a note in their folder if you are changing the way that they go home. If we do not have a note, we will send them their usual way.

Folders will be sent home every day. Please make sure that you sign it daily and make sure it is returned each day.

Our lunch time is 10:50-11:20. All students receive free lunch and breakfast. If you would like to celebrate a birthday, it must be done during their lunch time. At this time we have 16 students!
